Bunny Trails Software ("Bunny Trails," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide when using Bunny Trails Cloud.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide and maintain Bunny Trails Cloud.

Account Information

When you register or use an account, we may collect:

• Your name.
• Your email address.
• Account login credentials.
• Subscription and account preferences.
• Information associated with invited Family-account members.

Passwords are managed through authentication systems and are not intended to be stored in readable form.

Rabbitry Information

Bunny Trails Cloud allows customers to enter and store information related to their rabbitries.

This may include:

• Rabbit names, breeds, colors, and identifying information.
• Pedigrees and ancestry records.
• Breeding and litter information.
• Show results and related records.
• Rabbit ownership and contact information.
• Financial and transaction records.
• Photographs and other uploaded content.
• Additional information entered by customers.

Some customer-created records may contain personal information about other individuals, such as buyers, sellers, breeders, or contacts.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate rights or permission to enter this information.

Subscription and Payment Information

We collect information about your subscription plan, billing status, payment history, and related transactions.

Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider.

Bunny Trails Software does not directly store complete payment-card numbers.

Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own privacy practices.

Technical Information

When you access Bunny Trails Cloud, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• IP addresses.
• Browser and device information.
• Access dates and times.
• Application error information.
• Security and diagnostic logs.

This information helps us operate, troubleshoot, and secure the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Provide rabbitry management features.
• Process subscriptions and payments.
• Support Family-account access.
• Import and export customer data.
• Send important account and service notifications.
• Respond to support requests.
• Maintain application security.
• Diagnose technical problems.
• Prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use customer rabbitry data for advertising.

We do not sell customer personal information to advertisers.

3. Family Accounts and Shared Information

Family subscriptions allow multiple users to share one Bunny Trails Cloud account.

All authorized users within a Family subscription can access and manage the rabbitry information stored in that account.

Records are not private to the individual family member who entered them.

The primary account holder controls invitations and membership.

When a family member is removed, their access to the account ends, but records they previously entered remain available to the other authorized account users.

This may include rabbit records, pedigrees, photographs, contacts, transactions, and other account information.

If you are an invited Family-account member, please understand that information you enter may remain accessible to other account members even after you leave the subscription.

4. Sharing Information With Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate Bunny Trails Cloud.

These may include providers of:

• Cloud application hosting.
• Database and file storage.
• Payment processing.
• Transactional email delivery.
• Infrastructure monitoring and security services.

These providers may process information as necessary to deliver their services to us.

We do not authorize service providers to use customer rabbitry information for their own advertising purposes.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, investigate misuse, or protect the security of our customers and services.

If Bunny Trails Software undergoes a business transfer, merger, or sale, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Bunny Trails Cloud uses cookies or similar technologies necessary for application functionality.

These may include technologies used to:

• Maintain login sessions.
• Authenticate users.
• Protect against unauthorized requests.
• Remember essential application preferences.

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or marketing analytics services.

If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

6. Data Storage and Security

Customer information is stored using cloud infrastructure and service providers that support Bunny Trails Cloud.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

These measures may include authentication controls, access restrictions, encrypted communications, backups, and security monitoring.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for protecting their passwords and ensuring that only trusted individuals have access to their accounts.

7. Data Retention

We retain customer information while a subscription is active and as necessary to provide the service.

Canceled or Expired Subscriptions

When a subscription is canceled, access continues until the end of the paid billing period.

After the subscription ends, customer data is retained for 30 days to allow reactivation.

Following this period, customer-created rabbitry data is scheduled for permanent deletion.

This includes rabbit records, pedigrees, photographs, and related account information.

Once deleted from the active service, this information cannot be restored through normal account reactivation.

Backups

Deleted information may remain temporarily in system backups until those backups expire under our established retention procedures.

Backup copies are maintained for recovery and security purposes rather than ordinary customer access.

Records Retained for Business or Legal Purposes

We may retain limited information after account deletion when reasonably necessary for:

• Tax and accounting obligations.
• Payment and transaction records.
• Fraud prevention.
• Security investigations.
• Legal disputes.
• Compliance with applicable laws.

We do not retain customer-created rabbitry records indefinitely merely because a subscription was previously active.

8. Your Privacy Choices

You may review and update certain account information through Bunny Trails Cloud.

Depending on your account permissions, you may also edit, delete, import, or export rabbitry information.

You may cancel your subscription through the available subscription management features.

We will review privacy-related requests and respond as required by applicable law.

Requests involving shared Family-account data may require consideration of the rights and responsibilities of the primary account holder and other authorized users.

9. Children's Privacy

Bunny Trails Cloud is not intended for children under 13.

Subscription purchases and billing management are restricted to individuals who are at least 18 years old.

Users between 13 and 17 may participate through a Family subscription with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to address the situation, including deletion where required.

10. Email Communications

We may send emails necessary to operate your account and subscription.

These may include:

• Email verification and password reset messages.
• Account invitations.
• Subscription confirmations.
• Billing and renewal notices.
• Security notifications.
• Important service announcements.
• Responses to support requests.

These communications are primarily transactional or service-related.

We do not currently operate a marketing email program.

11. Data Imports

Customers migrating from Bunny Trails Classic or other software may provide files containing rabbitry records and related information.

We process these files for the purpose of importing customer data into Bunny Trails Cloud.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are authorized to provide the information contained in uploaded or submitted files.

Imported information becomes part of the customer's subscription account and is subject to the same access and retention practices described in this policy.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements.

When changes are material, we will provide appropriate notice.

The current version will be available through Bunny Trails Cloud.
